Born 9 July 1962 in Madison, Wisconsin, USA.  While living in Michigan Lori opened and operated a fine art gallery for 7 years, before selling it to relocate to South Africa in 1993. 

Education: 

Fine Art Degree, University of Wisconsin, 1980 – 1983. Art Therapy Workshops: “Therapy through Hand-made Paper and Stone Carving”, the Gestalt Approach, 1984. University of Wisconsin – Green Bay, Textiles and Papermaking, 1985. 

Teaching Experience: 

CUPPAD and Michigan Council for the Arts: Selected artist for teaching the principles of handmade paper, 1989.
